In the field of photovoltaics/solar, our protection rights deal with

• direct plating metallisation for solar cells
• screens and stencils based on metal foils for solar cell fabrication
• solar cells / optimised layout concept and fabrication methods 

In the field of semiconductors/microsystems, our protection rights deal with

• micromechanical actuators, e.g. for bistable thermally actuated micro switches or micro relays 
• metallic through vias for wafer substrates

The protection rights are incorporated in NBT's products, or we give license to third party manufacturerers.
