Company history - April 2004: NBT foundation in Bremen by Mike Becker and Dr. Dietmar Lütke Notarp
- November 2004: Opening of our Bremen office at the location of BITZ
- December 2004: Evaluation of international production plants for microsystem technology production plants (fabs)
- January 2005: Frame contract on the cooperation with the University of Bremen (Germany) and its microsystem department (MCB/IMSAS)
- February 2005: Frame contract on the cooperation with the 'center of advanced European studies and research' (caesar) in Bonn (Germany)
- July 2005: Customer's approval of the recommended production plant for a high-volume production
- December 2005: Opening of our Bonn office at caesar
- February 2006: NBT closes contract on technology development in the field of solar industry
- July 2006: Customer starts high-volume production at the recommended production plant
- September 2007: NBT presents itself at the 22nd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition in Milano, Italy
- December 2007: NBT wins a contract with a well-known solar cell manufacturer for the development of a direct coating method
- February 2008: Contract for the development of injection moulded components for plant construction
- September 2008: NBT attends the 23rd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition in Valencia, Spain
- March 2009: NBT at PHOTON's 4th Photovoltaic Technology Show, to be held in Munich, Germany

- February 2011: Frintrup NB Special Screen Technology (Kunshan) has been introduced as a joint venture of NB Technologies GmbH (NBT) and Hans Frintrup GmbH at SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai.
